Job Purpose

The Compliance & Legal Officer will ensure that the company operates in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. The role will provide legal guidance, manage contractual matters, and support risk management initiatives across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry requirements.
• 
  Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts, agreements, and legal documentation.
• 
  Provide legal advice and support to management and various departments.
• 
  Manage licensing, registrations, permits, and regulatory filings.
• 
  Identify legal and compliance risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• 
  Maintain company legal records, contracts, and corporate documentation.
• 
  Support investigations, audits, and regulatory reviews when required.
• 
  Coordinate with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities.
• 
  Develop and implement compliance policies and awareness programs.
• 
  Monitor changes in legislation and advise management on potential business impacts.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

• 
  Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB).
• 
  Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, labor, and regulatory law.
• 
  Previous experience in legal advisory, compliance, risk management, or corporate governance is an advantage.
• 
  Excellent analytical, research, and drafting skills.
• 
  Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
