About the role

The Finance Business Partner – FP&A & Business Performance will be a key member of the Global Quality & Supply Chain (QSCP) Finance team, providing financial planning, forecasting, business performance analysis and strategic decision support across Global Quality, EHS & Engineering, Strategy, Operations and QSC Central Functions.

This role combines strong FP&A capability, financial governance, business partnering and data analytics expertise to support senior stakeholders in driving business performance. The successful candidate will transform complex financial and operational data into meaningful insights, helping leaders make informed decisions while continuously driving simplification, standardisation and automation across finance processes.

The role provides a unique opportunity to work with senior global stakeholders and serve as a critical finance partner supporting Annual Business Planning, forecasting, performance management, investment governance and financial reporting excellence. This role will also work closely with Close & Control (C&C) teams to ensure robust financial reporting, governance and compliance standards are maintained across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide financial support and business partnering to Global Quality, EHS & Engineering, Strategy and QSC Central Functions leadership teams, supporting strategic and operational decision-making.

  • Support Annual Business Planning, forecast cycles and financial target setting, ensuring robust financial assumptions, insightful analysis and improved forecast accuracy.

  • Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual financial performance analysis, delivering actionable insights on actuals versus budget, forecast and prior year performance.

  • Translate complex financial and operational data into meaningful business insights and compelling narratives for senior stakeholders.

  • Partner with business leaders to identify risks, opportunities and value creation initiatives, providing constructive challenge and recommendations to improve business performance.

  • Work closely with the Close & Control (C&C) organisation to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong governance and compliance with accounting policies and control requirements.

  • Deliver simplification, standardisation and automation of finance processes and reporting activities to improve efficiency and reduce manual transactional work.

  • Leverage data analytics and digital tools to enhance financial visibility, improve decision-making and generate actionable business insights.

  • Collaborate across Finance, Business and Global Capability Centre teams to continuously improve finance capabilities, processes and stakeholder experience.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CA or equivalent).

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline.

  • 12-15 years of finance experience with strong FP&A and business partnering background.

  • Proven experience in forecasting, planning, variance analysis and performance management.

  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large and complex datasets.

  • Experience with SAP and finance planning/reporting systems.

  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles and governance controls.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred

  • FMCG, Consumer Health, Manufacturing or Supply Chain experience.

  • Experience supporting global functions and matrix organisations.

  • Power BI, Power Query, Alteryx or automation experience.

  • Experience driving finance transformation or process improvement initiatives.
