We have a great opportunity for an experienced and passionate QP Audiologist to join the team at our busy hearing clinic in Toowoomba, Queensland.

This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Conduct comprehensive adult and paediatric audiological assessments in accordance with current best practice and the Company’s clinical protocols and communicate assessment results and subsequent recommendations.
  • Perform paediatric testing including Visual Reinforcement Audiometry (VRA) and Conditioned Play Audiometry (CPA).
  • Deliver individualised rehabilitation plans, including hearing aid selection, fitting, real-ear verification (REM), and follow up care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and in line with with Medicare, HSP and DVA requirements.
  • Meet our clients’ needs by providing appropriate and professional advice, services, and devices.
  • Offer counselling and education to patients and their families regarding hearing loss management and communication strategies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Participate in professional development and training to maintain current and diverse knowledge in your specialist areas of audiology.

What Do You Need to Be Successful in This Role?

  • 3-5 years' experience in Adult Rehabilitation.
  • A relevant qualification in Audiology.
  • Currently hold, or eligible for, full membership with AudA or ACAud inc. HASAA
  • Strong audiological skills, with the ability to manage a high and varied caseload while demonstrating sound clinical judgement.
  • Excellent customer care and service skills, with a passion for delivering an exceptional client experience.
  • A commitment to building strong therapeutic relationships with clients and achieving the highest standards in audiological care.
  • An understanding of, and commitment to, ensuring the commercial success of the business.
  • A desire to support team members and nurture an inclusive and enthusiastic culture in the region.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Dedication to staying updated with industry advancements.
