The Plant Government Regulations Coordinator (GRC Engineer) is responsible for ensuring all vehicles produced at the plant comply with applicable government regulations, certification requirements, and corporate quality standards. This role supports new model launches, audits, vehicle certification, regulatory compliance, and interaction with corporate functions and government agencies.
Ensure vehicles meet all government regulations, certification, emissions, and labeling requirements prior to release.
Manage and support Finished Vehicle Audits and regulatory inspections for self‑certifying and non‑self‑certifying markets.
Support new Modal launches, Fresh Eye Reviews, label reviews, and launch readiness activities.
Monitor, document, and report regulatory compliance issues, campaigns, stop‑ships, and containment actions.
Coordinate internal and external audits and reviews (e.g., ISO, Conformity of Production, government or certification audits).
Verify VIN stamping, labeling, traceability, and accuracy on vehicles.
Support investigations and reviews involving corporate legal, safety offices, and government agencies when required.
Communicate regulatory status and concerns to Plant Management and Operating Committee.
Maintain required records in accordance with corporate and regulatory retention requirements.
Working knowledge of vehicle regulatory requirements (Vietnam safety & emission, certification, VIN, labeling).
Experience with Finished Vehicle Audits, quality systems, and audit processes.
Familiarity with launch activities, containment actions, campaigns, and process audits.
Strong coordination, documentation, and reporting skills.
Ability to work cross‑functionally with Quality, Engineering, Launch, Supplier Quality, Management, and corporate teams.
Capable of communicating regulatory risks and issues to plant leadership.
Detail‑oriented with strong discipline in record retention and compliance documentation.
