Job Description

The purpose of the position is to support all QA Systems activities to ensure compliance with cGMP, FSSC22000, FEMAS, UFAS and BETA NOPS. Main Responsibilities: • Customer complaint process owner: Record investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product and raw material quality and implement necessary corrective and preventive actions to address identified issues. Recording COPQ figures identifying trends and suggesting improvements to reduce COPQ.• Supplier complaint process: Record and support with the investigation and management of supplier complaints related to product and raw material quality. • Internal Audit Programme Owner: Develop, execute, and manage the site internal audit programme to ensure compliance with GMP, food and feed quality standards. Collaborate with departments to address findings and drive continuous improvement.• Supplier Audits: support the supplier audit programme to assess and ensure ongoing compliance. Collaborate with suppliers to address identified gaps and implement improvements.• Batch release: perform batch reviews and administer certificates of analysis.• TACCP and VACCP Process Owner: Implement and manage Threat Assessment Critical Control Points (TACCP) and Vulnerability Assessment Critical Control Points (VACCP) processes to mitigate intentional adulteration risks. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.• Quality Systems Induction Training: Develop and deliver quality systems induction training for new employees, ensuring a thorough understanding of quality principles. • Project Support: Provide quality assurance support for projects, ensuring compliance with GMP and food and feed quality standards. Collaborate with project teams to integrate quality measures throughout project lifecycles.• Identifying and Reporting on Quality KPIs: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality systems. Prepare regular reports on quality KPIs, highlighting areas for improvement and success.• QA Systems Support: Provide support to the QA Systems team as required by the QA Systems Manager. • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to quality processes and support improvement initiatives across the site. Skills & Abilities:• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities• Administrative background, excellent IT skills including confident using Microsoft word, excel and outlook• Excellent organizational skills with good attention to detail• Excellent communication and training skills• Strong auditing skills• Strong background in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.• Ability to create, track, analyse, and present data trends effectively to support decision-making and continuous improvement processes.
Education & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree or higher-level qualification such as HND/HNC• Experience in a relevant field, including 2 years’ experience in quality assurance• Internal auditing experience, or attendance at a relevant course • Experience in either pharma or food manufacturing• Experience of cGMP and/or ISO9001 would be preferable
