Job Description

Responsible for designing, maintaining, and continuously improving the enterprise Quality Management System (QMS). Ensures compliance with ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and internal governance while driving consistency and excellence across all sites.

Essential Functions

QMS Governance & Compliance

  • Develop and maintain QMS documentation, policies, and procedures to meet ISO and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure timely updates and change control for all controlled documents.
  • Monitor compliance across sites and implement corrective actions where gaps are identified

Audit & Certification Management

  • Plan and lead internal audit programs, including scheduling, execution, and reporting.
  • Prepare for and manage external certification audits, ensuring readiness and successful outcomes.
  • Analyze audit findings and oversee implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Standardization & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive harmonization of SOPs and quality processes across all sites.
  • Collaborate with site quality teams to implement best practices and reduce variability.
  • Provide governance reporting and recommendations to senior leadership.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has direct reports.

Work Environment

Well-lighted, heated, and/or air-conditioned indoor office, production setting, outdoor/indoor shop environment, or enclosed vehicle with adequate ventilation and protection from extreme weather conditions

Physical Demands

Sedentary physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature. Manual dexterity sufficient to work with the fingers.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position may require overtime.

Travel

This position does not have any travel requirements

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in quality systems management.
  • Proven expertise in ISO 9001 and internal auditing.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • CQE/CQA certification.
  • Experience in multi-site QMS deployment and certification oversight.
  • Knowledge of risk-based thinking and regulatory compliance frameworks.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be able to obtain TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
