Job Location: Manufacturing Facility - Moore, SC 29369

Position Summary
The ISO Coordinator is responsible for maintaining, improving, and ensuring compliance with Takeuchi MFG (US) Ltd.’s Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO standards (primarily ISO 9001). This role supports manufacturing operations by coordinating audits, managing documentation, driving corrective actions, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement across the Moore, SC facility.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain and administer the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) and related procedures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external ISO audits; plan, coordinate, and support audit activities.
- Prepare audit schedules, collect objective evidence, and ensure timely closure of audit findings and nonconformances.
- Manage corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes, including root cause analysis and effectiveness verification.
- Control QMS documentation, including policies, procedures, work instructions, and records; ensure proper version control and employee access.
- Assist with management review meetings; compile metrics, KPIs, and reports for leadership review.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with ISO requirements and Takeuchi quality objectives.
- Train and support employees on ISO standards, QMS requirements, and documentation practices.
- Monitor compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements applicable to manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and HR to ensure quality and process alignment.
- Assist with customer audits and quality-related inquiries as needed.
- Track and report quality metrics such as nonconformances, corrective actions, audit results, and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2–5 years of experience supporting ISO 9001 in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems.
- Experience coordinating internal and external audits.
- Strong documentation, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and document control systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Preferred

Qualifications
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification.
- Experience in heavy equipment, automotive, or manufacturing assembly environments.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement tools (5 Why, Fishbone, PDCA, Kaizen).
- Experience working in a growing or evolving manufacturing facility.
Physical & Work Environment
- Primarily office-based with regular time spent on the manufacturing floor.
- Ability to walk production areas, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods as needed.
- Occasional overtime or schedule flexibility may be required to support audits or operational needs.

Compensation:
- Target salary range: $65,000 - $70,000/Annual
