Raceway Ambassador

The Raceway Ambassador is responsible for creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for racers, guests, and visitors at Qlispé Raceway. This position supports admissions, merchandise sales, guest services, and event operations while delivering exceptional hospitality and ensuring a safe, organized, and professional environment.

Essential Responsibilities
• Welcome guests and racers while providing outstanding customer service.
• Sell admissions for Raceway events using cash and credit card transactions.
• Sell Raceway merchandise and maintain accurate inventory and cash balances.
• Answer guest questions and provide accurate information regarding events, facilities, and services.
• Assist with entertainment and special event operations as assigned.
• Balance cash drawers and accurately document transactions.
• Safeguard company assets by following established cash-handling procedures.
• Follow all Kalispel Tribe Internal Controls and Northern Quest policies and procedures.
• Provide courteous and professional telephone service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready work area.
• Demonstrate flexibility by assisting other departments when needed.
• Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of customer service, hospitality, retail, or related experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and solve routine problems independently.
• Ability to work collaboratively with coworkers across departments.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience working at racing events, sporting venues, or live entertainment events.
• College coursework or technical training in hospitality, business, or a related field.
Schedule Requirements
This position requires a flexible schedule and may include:
• Evenings
• Weekends

• Overtime as business needs require

Employment Requirements
Employment is contingent upon:
• Successfully passing a pre-employment drug screening.
• Successfully passing a background investigation.
• Obtaining and maintaining a Tribal Work Permit.
Employment with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians is at-will and may be terminated by either the employee or employer, with or without cause or notice, in accordance with applicable law.
