About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded sales leader to step into a State Manager - Queensland role based in Brisbane.

Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer this role is ideal for an experienced Sales Manager or Senior Sales Leader who is ready to take the next step and expand their remit into broader branch leadership. You will lead the Queensland sales function while progressively developing capability across people leadership, commercial management and strategic growth.

Requirements

Key Accountabilities Include:

  • Lead, coach and develop the Queensland sales team to achieve sales budgets and agreed KPIs
  • Embed and reinforce disciplined sales behaviours aligned to our established sales methodology
  • Drive sales performance while working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and positive customer outcomes
  • Contribute to branch planning including sales forecasting pipeline management and customer engagement activities
  • Support the development and execution of strategies to grow new and existing accounts
  • Foster a high performance and accountable team and branch culture focused on capability growth engagement and retention
  • Build strong working relationships with other State Managers and Vertical General Managers to capture cross-functional opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and strategic accounts
  • Partner with the State Service Delivery Manager to ensure high standards of customer experience
  • Over time assume broader branch leadership responsibilities and contribution to national initiatives

This role will be supported through strong national leadership collaboration and is positioned as a clear development pathway into full State leadership.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading successful sales teams ideally in a B2B environment
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and grow sales revenue against targets
  • Sound commercial acumen with an appetite to broaden exposure to full branch management
  • Strong people leadership capability with a coaching and development mindset
  • Ability to build trusted relationships across internal teams and with customers
  • Confident communication presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proactive approach to market engagement networking and business development within Queensland
  • Well organised with the ability to manage priorities deadlines and competing demands
  • Comfortable working autonomously while contributing to a collaborative leadership team
  • Australian driver’s licence
  • Australian residency
