Gotcha4Life Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that delivers inspirational, evidence-based, preventative mental fitness campaigns, programs, and services. Since 2017, Gotcha4Life has been on a mission to inspire and enable people of all ages to take action to build their mental fitness.
We take a protective-factor-first and strengths-based approach to building mental fitness, focusing on the skills, relationships, and everyday actions that support us to navigate life’s ups and downs. Our work shifts the conversation from “what’s wrong?” to “what makes us strong?”, helping people strengthen their emotional adaptability, social connection, and help-seeking behaviour.
As a Gotcha4Life Mental Fitness / Wellbeing Educator, you will play an important role in delivering the Mentally Fit Schools program across a portfolio of schools in Queensland. Mentally Fit Schools is Gotcha4Life’s evidence-informed, whole-of-school approach to building mental fitness and strengthening the protective factors that support children and school communities to thrive.
You will work collaboratively with schools to build their wellbeing capacity, inspiring and enabling school communities to adopt a proactive approach to building mental fitness. Partnering with and mentoring schools through the Mentally Fit Schools framework, this role is responsible for delivering evidence-informed mental fitness training, coaching and resources, building strong relationships with school staff and leaders, and helping connect Queensland schools with the broader Gotcha4Life community.
As part of our growing Queensland team, you’ll be supported by the Mentally Fit Schools Team Lead QLD and educators across Australia, while having the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our Queensland presence.
This is a full-time position (1.0 FTE), based in Queensland and working across your portfolio of partner schools. The role involves a combination of face-to-face delivery in schools, virtual coaching and collaboration, and working from home.
As our Queensland team continues to grow, we expect to create more opportunities for the team to come together regularly for connection, collaboration and professional learning.
We are a growing and passionate team, driven by the impact we make in school communities. You’ll be part of a supportive team environment, with access to experienced peers and leaders across Gotcha4Life. Salary packaging options are also available.
At Gotcha4Life, what we achieve is important, but how we achieve it matters just as much. Our values guide the way we work, lead and collaborate every day:
A vehicle suitable for work-related travel, a valid Queensland Driver Licence and a current Blue Card are required for this role.
