WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a QHSE Specialist to
support the QHSE Manager in implementing, monitoring and continuously improving Integrated Management System
(QHSE). The ideal candidate goals and operational field reality, ensuring the
highest of safety, quality, and environmental compliance across all company
sites and complex projects.

Role and Responsibilities:
Support the Manager in the development, implementation, maintenance and dissemination of the Integrated Management System (Quality, Safety and Environment) within the company;
Act as technical point of contract for site-based safety. Conduct field inspections and behavioral safety audits, providing expert guidance to site managers to ensure immediate risk mitigation.
Support the identification of training needs and design specialized coaching programs for high-risk activities and the promotion of a proactive safety culture
Support/Plan and excute the annual internal audit schedule. Collaborate for external certification bodies during surveillance and renewal audits.
Collaborate in technical analysis of accidents and near-misses using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies. Propose structural corrective actions with the QHSE Manager to prevent recurrence.
Support the QHSE Manager in updating the company's quality, safety and environmental documentation in coordination with department managers and company management.
Qualification process and monitor the ongoing performance of subcontractors, ensuring total compliance with SUEZ Group requirements throughout the supply chain.
, Ensuring that local reporting is accurate, timely, and aligned with global group standards.
Monitor changes in local and international legislation (Safety & Environment), assisting the QHSE Manager in assessing the impact on company operations and updating internal procedures accordingly.
Collaborate
with department managers to ensure that QHSE requirements are integrated into
business processes without disrupting operational efficiency.

WHICH SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE ?

General requirement:
At least 8/10 years of experience in
managing QHSE systems in large-scale Civil Construction, Engineering or complex
Infrastructure sectors. Proven track record as a ASPP in field-based
roles.

Education Requirements:

Degree or diploma in technical disciplines (Engineering preferred).
Attendance of specific training courses for ASPP (Modules A,B).
Attendance of Lead/Internal Auditor courses (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)

Languages required:
Italian mother tongue
Fluent in English
France is a plus.

Required Skills:
Expert
knowledge of regulations regarding health and safety at work, fire and
environmental risks.
Advanced
familiarity with current legislation on safety and the environment with reference
to major corporate risks

Required behavior Skills:
Analytical and critical thinking skills.
Understanding KPIs
and application of continuous improvement principles.
Understanding
business mechanisms and Integrated Management System procedures.
Ability to work
in a team and commitment to adopting company values.
