QHSE Specialist

�� Location: Tananger, Norway

Purpose

Supports QHSE functions by ensuring that QHSE management system is implemented as defined by Company requirements and procedures. Provides assistance to the area by drafting QHSE documents, preparing internal performance indicators and following up on QHSE events.

��️ What You'll Be Doing

  • Liaises closely with the regional manangement team to define and provide a comprehensive and coherent application of the management system.
  • Support the development and implementation of the site Annual HSE Program in cooperation with the Supply Chain Operations team.
  • Identify applicable legal and regulatory HSE requirements and support compliance across operations. Propose required investments in line with improvement plans and legal obligations.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of HSE procedures in accordance with Corporate and local requirements. Prepare HSE corporate reports, including analysis of HSE statistics, trends, and performance indicators.
  • Monitor and control the systematic identification, assessment, and mitigation of hazards, risks, and environmental aspects. Support Operations in the development and maintenance of work instructions for activities under their responsibility.
  • Support Operations during HSE investigations, including incident analysis, emergency planning, drills, and followup improvement actions.
  • Participate in internal HSE audit programs, inspections, and compliance reviews.
  • Support the development, coordination, and delivery of appropriate HSE training initiatives.
  • Organize and lead HSE Committee meetings with employees and contractors.
  • Participate in internal audits, inspections, and behavioral safety observations.
  • Define and track corrective and preventive actions (RPA)
  • Identify emergency scenarios and develop emergency response plans, drills, and follow-up exercises.
  • Ensure process execution complies with procedures, specifications, customer requirements, and service standards.
  • Verify quality controls for pipe preparation & inspection activities
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor Quality KPIs.
  • Prepare ad hoc monthly reports on quality performance, claims, NCRs, incidents, and improvement actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rework, errors, delays, and customer complaints.
  • Support users of quality Management systems
  • Ensure full product traceability and documentation accuracy.
  • Support operations to ensure on-time delivery with highest quality standards.
  • Participate in customer & supplier audits and external certifications.
  • Support operations on vendor management (monitor output, risk assessment, NCRs)

�� Your profile:

  • Technical Qualification in HSE, Engineering, Mechanical, Industrial, Quality Management, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–7 years of relevant QHSE experience in Oil & Gas, pipe yard, OCTG/tubular services, logistics, manufacturing, or warehouse operations
  • Experience in workshop/shop floor environments with manual handling preferred.
  • Experience working with customers in drilling and Supply Chain operations desirable.
  • Foreign Languages: English – advanced
