Job Description

Company Description

Eurofiber is a premium brand providing connectivity and cloud solutions for the business market. Through our IT infrastructure, we ensure that critical organizations—such as hospitals, schools, and government institutions—remain up and running at all times.

Job Description

As a QHSE Officer at Eurofiber, you play an important role in how the organization works safely, responsibly and remains in control. You support and help coordinate the implementation, execution and continuous improvement of the ISO‑based QHSE management system, with a clear focus on Belgium and Luxembourg, in line with applicable laws and regulations.

You work closely with colleagues from the Security, Privacy and Compliance team, where QHSE represents the compliance domain alongside the security and privacy disciplines. As an integrated team, you help maintain a robust and compliant management system by identifying risks, monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement across the organization.

In this role, you help translate Health and Safety and broader QHSE requirements into practical ways of working. You support the development, implementation and maintenance of QHSE policies, processes and controls, while keeping the plan-do-check-act (PDCA) cycle active and properly documented in daily practice. You assist with internal audits, help coordinate external ISO audits and contribute to the structured follow-up of findings. You can also expect to be involved in our international tender processes and projects, ensuring that Eurofiber can offer solutions that are compliant with both the customer- and our certification requirements.

You also support and help oversee the handling of incidents, findings and complaints by determining the root causes and coordinating corrective and preventive actions with relevant stakeholders. In addition, you contribute to ESG‑related initiatives within the QHSE domain, supporting Eurofiber in strengthening its sustainable and responsible way of working. Through collaboration and a structured approach, you make a visible contribution to a compliant, futureproof and continuously improving Eurofiber organization.

Qualifications

  • What We Are Looking For
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a QHSE or compliance-focused role.
  • Practical understanding of ISO management systems (such as ISO 14001 or ISO 45001).
  • Language Requirements
  • English (Must-have): Professional proficiency in reading and writing. Our management system and documentation are fully maintained in English.
  • Dutch & French: You speak both languages, or you are fluent in one and comfortable communicating in the other. Dutch is the main language within our immediate team, while French is used to connect with our colleagues in Luxembourg and France.
  • Is your Dutch or French a bit rusty? Eurofiber provides language coaching to help you get up to speed.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with diverse internal stakeholders.
  • A structured, pragmatic, and self-motivated working style.
  • Bachelor working and thinking level.

Additional Information

We provide the support you need to excel in your role. This includes:

  • A competitive salary package, including a company car, performance-based bonus scheme, and a 13th-month salary.
  • Flexible working hours, allowing you to balance your professional, personal, and family life while working in the environment where you perform at your best.
  • Continuous development of your skills and competencies through a wide range of training and learning opportunities.
  • Support for your wellbeing with complimentary fresh fruit and soup provided during lunch.
  • Need some time to recharge? No problem. You'll enjoy 33 days of paid annual leave each year.
