We are looking for a QESH Support to join the UK Central Europe Parts and Field Service team supporting the UK Field Service and Workshops in Scotland.

You will be providing management support in Quality, Health, Safety and Environment initiatives to internal and external stakeholders and advising internal stakeholders on HSE matters of issues and promoting a positive QEHS safety culture. Ideally you will have some base knowledge of HSE legislation and auditing skills but also a desire to be willing to learn.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in the UK and will be located in Aberdeen, Montrose or Glasgow.

In this position, your work will be providing management support in quality, health and safety and environmental and legal compliance and initiatives to internal and external stakeholders. You will be able to collate and reference data from multiple sources. An understanding of the UK legislation is advantageous in this role as you will be advising internal stakeholders on HSE matters and promoting a positive QEHS safety culture.

As QESH Support, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Approval and monitoring of suppliers
  • Provide training on Quality, H&S and Environmental including new starter inductions
  • Carry out internal and supplier audits as required by the management systems
  • Ensuring compliance with legal obligations and best practices
  • Ensuring risk assessments are conducted, monitored and reviewed
  • Ensuring Environmental assessments are conducted and monitored
  • Raise internal non conformity notifications and monitor monthly
  • Advising staff on HSE issues
  • Planning and conducting of safety walks in accordance with schedule
  • Investigation of near misses and accidents
  • Carry out and monitor DSE Assessments
  • To attend other depots as necessary to provide quality, health safety and environment support.

In addition to the above duties and responsibilities, the post holder must be prepared to undertake such additional duties within their capabilities which may result from changing circumstances, but which may not of necessity, change the general character or level of responsibility of the post

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have experience or knowledge in the following areas although training will be given:

  • Auditing skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Risk Assessments
  • Knowledge of HSE legislation
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office
