Are you detail-oriented, hands-on, and passionate about building high-quality scenic solutions for live events? Event EQ is hiring a QC Technician, Scenic to support the preparation, inspection, and organization of scenic equipment used in concerts, corporate events, and large-scale productions.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment, takes pride in precision, and understands the importance of quality, safety, and consistency in live event production.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a QC Technician, Scenic, you will be responsible for ensuring scenic equipment is properly prepared, inspected, tracked, and ready for deployment.

βœ… Scenic Equipment Preparation

Pull, stage, set up, test, and prepare scenic equipment for shipment while following standard procedures and accepted practices.

βœ… Quality Control & Inspection

Inspect scenic products for quality, safety, and cosmetic issues. Report repair needs, ensure equipment meets quality standards, and maintain traceability throughout the process.

βœ… Inventory & Asset Tracking

Maintain accurate inventory records through computerized systems. Track equipment availability, identify discrepancies, and report unusual availability or scheduling issues.

βœ… Order Accuracy & Coordination

Review show orders and reservations to confirm all required components and ancillary items are included. Communicate discrepancies and clarify requirements with other departments.

βœ… Warehouse Organization

Organize, clean, and maintain scenic inventory using coded binning systems. Assist with the design and placement of storage to improve workflow and efficiency.

βœ… Team Support & Daily Operations

Assist with show preps, client demos, workflow planning, and day-to-day departmental needs. Utilize additional labor when required and support other departments as needed.

βœ… Training & Leadership Support

Assist with training and monitoring activities within the scenic discipline. Explain work processes, monitor quality, and help resolve discipline-specific issues.
