LMG is looking for an experienced Quality Control Technician 3 β Lighting to support inventory control and quality assurance within our lighting department. This role plays a critical part in ensuring lighting equipment is fully prepped, tested, and ready to meet production and client expectations. π What Youβll Be Doing
β
Focus on lighting inventory control and quality assurance
β
Ensure effective communication within Operations and across departments
β
Assist with training, monitoring, and supporting technicians within the lighting discipline
β
Backfill and support the Lighting Supervisor with daily planning, show preps, demos, and workflow
β
Perform quality checks on lighting equipment with emphasis on consoles and processing
β
Review technical documentation, procedures, and CAD drawings
β
Set up lighting systems to replicate show conditions for inspection and testing
β
Complete QC checklists to ensure systems meet LMG quality standards
β
Identify equipment failures and coordinate repairs with Engineering
β
Track inventory discrepancies and availability issues in inventory systems
β
Communicate equipment needs and discrepancies with Project Coordinators and Logistics
β
Organize and maintain clean, safe, and efficient warehouse storage areas
β
Assist with general warehouse operations including pickups, returns, and internal requests
