The Role:

We are looking for both eLIMS and Empower Specialists to support QC laboratory systems within a GMP environment. The role will focus on the day-to-day support and continuous improvement of Large Molecule eLIMS and iLABs, working with QC teams and SMEs to resolve issues, support system deployments and standardise ways of working.

The successful candidate will combine an understanding of QC laboratory processes with hands-on experience using and supporting eLIMS or Empower systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day eLIMS/Empower support to QC teams, including management and resolution of system support tickets.
  • Troubleshoot laboratory system issues and support root cause investigations.
  • Support investigations, CAPAs and change controls relating to laboratory systems and processes.
  • Support Large Molecule eLIMS and iLABs deployments and system improvements.
  • Work with SMEs to support method execution and standardisation across laboratory processes.
  • Represent the site on global teams focused on standardising iLABs builds and improving eLIMS ways of working.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across QC laboratory systems.
  • Provide SME support during regulatory, customer and internal audits where required.
  • Ensure activities are completed in accordance with GMP, company procedures and quality requirements.
  • Work closely with QC and cross-functional stakeholders to support effective system use and issue resolution.

Requirements:

  • BSc in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology or another relevant scientific discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience using eLIMS or Empower.
  • Experience supporting Large Molecule eLIMS and iLABs deployments.
  • Understanding of laboratory processes across areas such as LM Separations, Bioassay, IP and Microbiology.
  • Experience working with SMEs and cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of GMP/cGMP and regulated laboratory environments.
  • Experience with investigations, root cause problem solving, CAPAs or change controls would be beneficial.
  • Good communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
