Job Description

The QC Laboratory Intern supports daily testing activities in a chemical manufacturing environment, helping to ensure that raw materials, in process samples, and finished products meet quality and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Test raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Prepare and label samples, reagents, and standard solutions.
• Perform routine checks, cleaning, and basic maintenance of laboratory instruments.
• Record test results accurately in laboratory worksheets and the QC system.
• Report unusual results, deviations, or non-conformities
• Manage sample storage, retention, and disposal according to procedures.
• Monitor stocks of chemicals, reagents, and laboratory consumables.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
• Support documentation, investigations and improvement activities when required.

Role Requirements

• Pursuing a diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Applied Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of laboratory practices and chemical safety.
• Ability to follow test methods, SOPs, and safety instructions.
• Good communication, teamwork, and willingness to learn.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
