Your mission

We're expanding our team in Visp and searching for a dedicated QC Lab Professional! This is an exciting chance to be instrumental in setting up our brand new laboratory and contribute to vital quality control processes.

In this role, you will be a key contributor to our Quality Control operations, with a focus on microbiology:

• Perform microbial and biochemical analyses, such as Endotoxin testing, TOC, bioburden testing, sterility testing, growth promotion testing, method validation, and microorganism identification
• Documenting of the activities performed
• Implement and support improvements in the laboratory
• Operating on laboratory equipment
• Performing of requalification activities for laboratory equipment
• Organizing laboratory consumables and reagents / chemicals / culture media
• Participating in the Lean Lab project
• Assisting with the planning of studies and process improvements in the laboratory
• Planning laboratory activities independently

Your profile

We are looking for a motivated professional with strong laboratory skills and a collaborative mindset:

• Laboratory technician or similar training; no degree higher than a bachelor’s is required
• Proficiency in German and English is required
• Experience with microbiological analysis or biochemical analysis
• Experience working with microorganisms would be a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other laboratory and quality management systems
