Star Services LLC is a leading company in the Oil & Gas industry, providing high-quality services in pipeline projects. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced QC Inspector Painting & Coating to join our team in Taipei, Taiwan.
As a QC Inspector Painting & Coating, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of all painting and coating activities on our onshore and offshore pipeline projects. Your main objective will be to ensure that all painting and coating work is carried out in accordance with industry standards and project specifications.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and monitor all painting and coating activities on the project site
- Review and approve all painting and coating procedures and specifications
- Ensure that all materials and equipment used for painting and coating are of the highest quality and meet project requirements
- Conduct visual and non-destructive testing on painted and coated surfaces
- Monitor and report on the progress of painting and coating activities to the project manager
- Identify and report any defects or non-conformities and work with the project team to implement corrective actions
- Ensure that all painting and coating work meets safety and environmental standards
- Provide technical support and guidance to the project team and subcontractors
- Prepare and maintain all relevant documentation and reports related to painting and coating activities
Requirements:
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in Oil & Gas onshore/offshore pipeline projects
- Extensive knowledge and experience in painting and coating techniques and standards
- Proficiency in Mandarin (reading, writing, and speaking) is mandatory
- Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations related to painting and coating
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- NACE or SSPC certification is preferred
