Position: QC Inspector Mechanical

Minimum Experience: 10-12 years in Oil & Gas onshore/offshore pipeline projects
Language Requirement: Proficiency in Mandarin (reading, writing, and speaking) is mandatory
Star Services LLC, a leading provider of engineering, procurement, and construction services in the energy sector, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced QC Inspector Mechanical to join our team in Taipei, Taiwan. As a QC Inspector Mechanical, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our projects in the Oil & Gas industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and quality control activities on mechanical equipment and systems for onshore and offshore pipeline projects
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards
- Review and approve inspection and test plans, quality control procedures, and other relevant documents
- Monitor and report on the quality of work performed by contractors and subcontractors
- Identify and document any non-conformances and work with the project team to implement corrective actions
- Conduct final inspections and prepare handover documentation for completed projects
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on quality control matters
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in Oil & Gas onshore/offshore pipeline projects
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and relevant codes and standards
- Proficiency in Mandarin (reading, writing, and speaking) is mandatory
- Experience in conducting inspections and quality control activities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve quality issues
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines
- Willingness to travel to project sites and work in remote locations if required
- Valid certifications in relevant quality control and inspection methods are preferred
