Are you an experienced QC Inspector with a strong background in Oil & Gas onshore/offshore pipeline projects? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring quality and safety standards are met? Star Services LLC is seeking a highly skilled QC Inspector to join our team in Taipei, Taiwan.
As a QC Inspector for our Marine Searock Installation company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our pipeline projects. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and tests to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. This includes monitoring construction activities, conducting visual inspections, and reviewing documentation to ensure all work meets project specifications.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in Oil & Gas onshore/offshore pipeline projects. You must also have proficiency in Mandarin, including reading, writing, and speaking. This is a mandatory requirement as you will be working closely with our team in Taiwan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and tests to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
- Monitor construction activities to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Review documentation and records to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Identify and report any non-conformities or deviations from project specifications
- Work closely with project managers and other team members to resolve any quality issues
- Provide regular reports on inspection findings and progress to project management
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on quality-related matters
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance
Requirements:
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in Oil & Gas onshore/offshore pipeline projects
- Proficiency in Mandarin (reading, writing, and speaking) is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and report non-conformities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Willingness to travel and work on offshore projects if required
