Weekend Nightshift (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
The Quality Control Inspectoris responsible fordirect examination of product to ensure that quality standards and procedures are met and align with legislation and customer specifications. Requiringa high levelof attention to detail, the Quality Control Inspectoris responsible forstrictly adhering to the organization’s quality assurance procedures and policies andidentifyingdefects and/or production errors to prevent these materials from entering the supply chain. The QC document Control Clerkis responsible forcontrol of documentation, OPL creation, etc.
Roles & Responsibilities
Create andmaintainQA/QC control documentation
Document Control – organize all inspection documentation papers and online photos provided by inspectors
Daily inspection of in process units: ensure sealing is completed, no missing parts, and all other in process inspections are of high quality
Ensure productions are inspected asdeterminedby company requirements, checking of paperwork
Daily inspection of paperwork for all in process units and report any deficiencies to Quality Supervisor
Complete sub assembly inspectionssuch as:motors, coil, evap., furnace, and paint
Complete unit final inspections
Review inspection documents and make unit packages
Report any observed safety issues to the Safety Coach or Safety Coordinator
Assistwith education of other inspectors and production team members
Inspect drawings and marking/breaking work and ensure it is correct
Assistmarking with Engineering changes where drawings are not correct andsubmitto Quality Supervisor
Inspect all aspect of units with theappropriate formsfrom the beginning to the end and record all discrepancies
Organize all inspection documentation papers and online photos
Performs all dutiesin accordance withSilent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and Code

Knowledge ofappropriate materials, methods, and the toolsrequiredin various assembly processes.
Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
Must be able to carry and move equipment and/or suppliesin excess of40 pounds.
Must be able to read a tape measure and perform simple mathematical fractional equations.
Ability to read blueprints is considered an asset.
