Position: QC Inspector Civil

Star Services LLC is a leading provider of engineering, procurement, construction, and project management services in the oil and gas industry. We are currently seeking a highly experienced QC Inspector Civil to join our team in Taipei, Taiwan.
Job Description:
As a QC Inspector Civil, you will be responsible for ensuring that all civil construction activities on our onshore/offshore pipeline projects in Taiwan are carried out in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and quality control procedures. You will be required to have a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a strong background in civil construction and quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality inspections and audits on all civil construction activities, including excavation, backfilling, concrete works, and road construction.
- Review project specifications and drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Monitor and report on the progress of civil construction activities, highlighting any deviations from the project plan.
- Identify and document any non-conformances and work with the project team to implement corrective actions.
- Conduct material inspections and ensure that all materials used meet the required standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the project team on quality control matters.
- Liaise with third-party inspectors and client representatives to ensure that all quality requirements are met.
- Prepare quality control reports and maintain accurate records of all inspections and tests.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on quality control matters.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on civil construction.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in Mandarin (reading, writing, and speaking) is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and quality control procedures.
- Experience in onshore/offshore pipeline projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
