QC Inspector
A QC Inspector ensures products and services meet company and industry quality standards by inspecting, testing, and documenting materials and finished goods for defects or deviations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily quality checks of calibration tools used by the QC team to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform inspections such as incoming raw materials, in-process crate inspections, outbound inspections, and other checks as required by customers.
- Carry out specific customer inspections using ERP systems.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist the supervisor in ensuring the accuracy of reports completed by the QC team during shift changes.
- Perform routine inspections, including incoming, in-process, and outgoing checks, based on customer specifications and drawings.
- Conduct inspections using digital forms (Kizeo) via iPad.
- Execute Y7 / Y8 processes under SAP for non-conformance crates.
- Coordinate and liaise with internal members such as OPS packers, admin staff, and logistics coordinators.
- Undertake any ad hoc duties as assigned by Supervisor, Executive, or Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a QC inspector.
- At least 1 year of experience working in a warehousing environment.
- Able to adapt to a fast-paced and meticulous role.
- Team player.
- Willing to work overtime on weekdays and weekends, with a minimum 50% commitment to weekend shifts.
Working Hours:
- 8:30am to 5:30pm (Monday to Friday)
- 8:30pm to 5:30am (Monday to Friday)
Location:
- Working location will be either at 33 Greenwich or 35 Greenwich (Tampines Rd), with possible rotation if one site lacks manpower.
Additional Information:
- Must be able to commit to overtime on weekdays, weekends, and public holidays (OT on weekends must be 50%).
- Must be able to commit to monthly rotating shifts.
- Night shift allowance: $15 per shift.
