Job Description

Reporting to the Assistant Frac Manager - AMS Rentals, the QC/Farmout Coordinator will ensure compliance of wellhead and valve equipment with company Quality Assurance/Quality Control standards through inspection and verification processes. In addition, they will coordinate third-party farmout services and manage farmout inventory; and maintain accurate and complete documentation for inspection, repair, and farmout activities.

Duties Include:

  • Conduct dimensional, visual, and hardness inspections on equipment and components
  • Review, verify, and approve equipment for final inspection and release
  • Create, complete, and maintain all required inspection and quality documentation
  • Initiate, document, and support non-conformance and corrective action processes (NCIRs)
  • Coordinate all farmout activities, including vendor selection, scheduling, calibration/certification, and logistics.
  • Manage third-party vendors performing welding, machining, heat treating, and NDE services
  • Track farmout inventory and ensure full traceability throughout the process
  • Verify that all external work complies with applicable specifications, drawings, and QA/QC requirements
  • Perform incoming and outgoing inspections of farmed-out equipment
  • Communicate technical requirements and expectations to external vendors
  • Identify repair requirements and generate clear farmout work scopes
  • Perform other related duties as required

Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in QC inspection, machining, or repair of wellhead/valve equipment
  • Experience coordinating or working with third-party machining, welding, or heat treatment vendors preferred
  • Strong understanding of dimensional inspection, hardness testing, and technical drawings
  • Working knowledge of QA/QC systems, standards, and documentation practices
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to assess equipment condition and repair requirements
  • Familiarity with wellhead and pressure control equipment considered an asset
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workflows
  • Effective communication (oral and written) skills for coordinating with internal/external teams
  • Knowledgeable and familiar with API 6A an asset
  • Knowledge of NDE processes (MPI, UT, etc.) considered an asset
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
