Be part of our Quality Control team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you'll contribute by ensuring the quality and reliability of products that help make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.

This is an afternoon shift role where you'll perform testing and analysis to support the manufacturing of filtration products. You'll conduct quality control testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using various analytical techniques. You'll document and analyze test results, review batch documentation, participate in investigations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform QC laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products in accordance with approved test methods.

  • Review batch records for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to requirements.

  • Support batch disposition and product release decisions in a timely manner.

  • Support laboratory test method validations, equipment maintenance and calibration.

  • Identify, document, and escalate non-conformances identified during testing or batch review.

  • Drive QC investigations or provide QC input into investigations related to deviations, out-of-specification (OOS) results, and customer complaints.

  • Maintain accurate and compliant laboratory and QC documentation.

  • Collaborate closely with Production and Engineering to address quality issues and support timely resolution.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and corrective actions within the Quality function and broader manufacturing operations.

  • Develop, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions within the Quality function.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or related discipline.

  • Experience in quality control laboratory environment, preferably in food / pharmaceutical / biotech industry.

  • Strong knowledge of cGMP, GLP, and quality management systems.

  • Proficiency in analytical techniques such as HPLC, ICP-OES, UV-Vis spectroscopy.

  • Ability to follow SOPs and maintain detailed documentation per GDP requirements.

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and analytical software.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience with laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Flexible scheduling may be required.

  • Physical ability to perform laboratory work including PPE usage.
