Job Title:

QC EngineerThe Role: Quality Engineer
The Quality Control Engineer plays a key role in ensuring that products meet internal quality requirements and customer expectations. This position supports daily manufacturing operations, drives root-cause investigations, and partners closely with Production, Engineering, and Metrology teams to maintain robust process control. The role also contributes to continuous improvement projects, qualification builds, and customer quality initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
• Monitor daily quality performance and support molding/assembly production lines.
• Perform quality investigations, root-cause analysis, and support corrective/preventive actions.
• Review inspection results, manage non-conformance reports, and support timely disposition.
• Conduct in-process audits, visual defect verification, and process compliance checks.
• Collaborate with Engineering on NPI, DOE builds, and qualification activities.
• Work with Metrology on dimensional accuracy requirements and capability studies (MSA/GR&R).
• Support customer quality activities, including complaint follow-up and 8D reporting.
• Maintain quality documentation (Control Plans, Inspection Standards, Work Instructions).
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance yield and reduce defects.
• Provide training and guidance to QC Inspectors on defect criteria and quality standards.
What We Seek:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields.
• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, quality control, molding, or assembly environments (fresh graduates considered for junior roles).
• Familiarity with problem-solving tools (5 Why, Fishbone, SPC, FMEA, Control Plan).
• Ability to read engineering drawings and apply GD&T fundamentals.
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving approach.
• Good teamwork, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support urgent issues when needed.
Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
• Experience in FOUP, plastic injection molding, or precision component manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with metrology tools such as CMM, vision system, height gauge, and micrometers.
• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other structured improvement methodologies.
• Practical understanding of SPC, capability studies, GR&R, and other analytical tools.
• Prior experience supporting NPI builds, customer audits, or qualification runs.
• Strong data-analysis capability (Excel, Minitab, JMP, or similar tools).
• A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
