We are looking for a self-motivated and experienced QC Deputy Manager to join our company at the Quality Control Department
Key Responsibilities:
- Supports the QC Manager in the effective operation and management of the Quality Control Department.
- Supervises and coordinates daily Quality Control activities, ensuring timely and accurate execution of all laboratory operations.
- Ensures compliance of Quality Control activities with GMP, regulatory requirements, approved procedures, specifications and company quality standards.
- Coordinates and monitors the testing and release of raw materials, packaging materials, bulk and finished products, as well as stability samples, where applicable.
- Reviews and approves analytical results, laboratory documentation, specifications, analytical methods and relevant Quality Control records.
- Ensures the proper execution, review and documentation of laboratory investigations, OOS/OOT results, deviations and CAPAs.
- Supports the implementation, validation and maintenance of analytical methods and laboratory equipment.
- Ensures that laboratory equipment is properly maintained, calibrated and qualified according to applicable procedures.
- Participates in the preparation, review and approval of Quality Control procedures, work instructions, protocols and reports.
- Ensures the appropriate documentation, traceability and integrity of Quality Control data in accordance with Data Integrity principles.
- Collaborates closely with Production, Quality Assurance, R&D, Regulatory Affairs and other relevant departments to support business and quality objectives.
- Supports internal and external audits and regulatory inspections, ensuring the timely preparation and provision of required documentation and information.
- Contributes to the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Control Department.
- Supports the QC Manager in resource planning, workload allocation and prioritization of departmental activities.
- Participates in the training, development and performance evaluation of QC personnel.
- Acts as Deputy for the QC Manager when required, ensuring continuity and effective operation of the department.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering or a related scientific discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar position within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong knowledge of GMP and relevant pharmaceutical quality standards and regulations.
- Experience in Quality Control laboratory operations, analytical testing and laboratory investigations.
- Knowledge of OOS/OOT investigations, deviations, CAPA and change control processes.
- Experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, and other relevant laboratory methodologies.
- Excellent knowledge of the English language
- Excellent computer skills ( MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of ERP systems, especially SAP, will be considered an advantage.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced pharmaceutical environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance.
- Fulfilled military obligations (for male candidates).
