Experienced QC Analyst – Bioanalysis

Labcorp is seeking an onsite Experienced QC Analyst to join our new CMC facility in Mechelen, Belgium.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform and oversee analytical testing in accordance with GMP requirements, study protocols, and laboratory procedures.
  • Review and evaluate test results, investigate trends or deviations, and support problem resolution activities.
  • Collaborate with QC Scientists and cross-functional teams to ensure studies are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.
  • Receive and register samples, ensure the lab is clean at all time
  • Support method troubleshooting, transfer, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, documentation, and quality records in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with data integrity standards and GMP regulations.
  • Contribute to audits, inspections, investigations, and quality improvement activities.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for analytical techniques and support the successful execution of complex projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor in Science
  • 5 years or more experience of analysis in the pharmaceutical industry or a regulated laboratory
  • 4 or more years experience with PCR, bioassay and chemical testing (compendial, CE, HPLC)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years experience with GMP in a QC environment

Additional Job Standards:

  • Proficient in English, Dutch is an added value
  • Computing skills, including word processing and use of spreadsheets (e.g. Microsoft Office packages).
  • Skilled in independently performing a wide variety of analytical techniques.
  • An understanding of health and safety policies, Company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Can-do mentality
  • Flexibility to perform other lab related tasks when needed

In this role, you will work closely with QC Scientists and project teams to deliver high-quality analytical results while ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory standards. They are responsible for the efficient and effective completion of analysis, maintenance of study documentation, and laboratory records. They are responsible for ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with the laboratory schedule, all relevant SOPs or policies and according to scientific and technical standards, including GMP.

The QC Analyst will carry out operational activities necessary for the performance of a wide variety of studies carried out in the department and will maintain a clean and safe laboratory work environment.
