This is an 18-month temporary position, primarily based at our Wuppertal-Aprath site, with occasional support at the Leverkusen site.

  • Support laboratory equipment and instrument management, including maintenance and readiness for testing.
  • Contribute to day-to-day GMP laboratory activities, including 5S and general laboratory organization.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within QC and across other teams to ensure reliable and efficient laboratory operations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and remain open to learning new methods, processes, and quality requirements.

Profile Description

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline, or relevant vocational training (Ausbildung) in a scientific or laboratory field.
  • Ideally 1 to 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
  • Hands-on experience with chromatography, particularly HPLC and/or UPLC.
  • Experience with other separation techniques, such as CE and/or iCIEF, is an advantage.
  • Previous exposure to a GMP-regulated laboratory or Quality Control environment is an advantage.
  • Strong interest in hands-on laboratory work, with good attention to detail, quality, and reliable documentation.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new analytical techniques, quality systems, procedures, and company-specific GMP requirements.
  • Collaborative and responsible mindset, with an interest in continuous learning and professional development.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
