Your role:

Job Objective:

  • This position is primarily responsible for the continuous optimization and improvement of laboratory, driving enhancements to on-site processes and operational workflows, managing external technical communication and coordination, leading or participating in the planning and execution of laboratory-related projects, and carrying out part of routine laboratory testing activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate existing laboratory testing methods and conduct the development, transfer, optimization, and validation of new methods to ensure accuracy, reproducibility, and compliance;
  • Identify issues and potential risks in laboratory operations, develop and drive the effective implementation of improvement measures; promote lean management principles to continuously enhance overall laboratory operational efficiency.
  • Timely identify deviations, OOS (Out-of-Specification), and OOT (Out-of-Trend) results during testing; conduct investigations and Root Cause
  • Analysis (RCA) and follow up to ensure investigations are closed on time and CAPAs are effectively implemented.
  • Maintain close communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, actively coordinate cross-functional issues, and facilitate the smooth progression of cross-departmental projects.
  • Lead or participate in Lab/Site improvement projects and new product introduction projects; develop project plans, coordinate internal and external resources, identify and manage project risks, report progress in a timely manner, and ensure projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Execute routine lab testing in accordance with established SOPs and testing plans; ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of testing data, and strictly maintain Data Integrity.
  • Under the guidance of the EHS department, strictly follow lab safety operating procedures, ensure daily operations comply with safety requirements, and promptly report and address any safety hazards.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Biology, Pharmacy, or a related discipline.
  • 1+ year of quality related working experience in the life science or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English communication.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional and multicultural environments.
  • Strong communication, coordination, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Familiar with GMP, GLP, ISO regulations and quality management system requirements.
