Andy and Rachel Berliner started the company in their California farmhouse kitchen in 1987, and they named it after their newborn daughter, Amy. Their first product was a vegetable pot pie with a flaky, homestyle crust.

Today, we are still family-owned, but we now make more than 250 products, and we sell our homestyle foods in over 11 different countries. Amy's employs over 2,600 people with headquarters in Petaluma, California and manufacturing facilities in Santa Rosa, CA; Medford, OR; and Pocatello, ID.
