The role requires sound engineering fundamentals, precision and a strong learning mindset. Curiosity beyond the immediate task and an interest in digital tools and data analysis are important, while advanced programming expertise is not expected from day one.

Main responsibilities:

Manage validation requests and testing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring appropriate prioritization and follow-up. Analyze and interpret test results, identify anomalies and support root cause investigations. Prepare technical reports, test documentation and management summaries, ensuring clear communication of results, risks and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Test methods and continuous improvement: learn existing laboratory methods and contribute to improving test repeatability, efficiency, robustness and documentation, with support from senior colleagues where needed.
  • Data analysis and technical reporting: process, interpret and present test data in a clear and traceable way, highlighting conclusions, limitations and recommended follow-up actions.
  • Problem solving and investigation: support root-cause analysis of product or process issues through structured experiments, measurements and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Laboratory Equipment, Metrology and Quality Compliance: Ensure the safe operation, calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment to guarantee reliable measurements and equipment availability. Contribute to compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements by applying laboratory procedures, maintaining quality records and supporting accreditation activities and audits.
  • Digitalization and knowledge sharing: contribute to simple automation, dashboards or analysis workflows and maintain clear technical records. Develop proficiency in tools such as Power BI, Python or equivalent solutions according to project needs.

Main requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or another relevant technical discipline.
  • Up to 4 years of experience in a laboratory, quality, testing, product engineering or comparable technical environment. Applications from high-potential recent graduates are also welcome.
  • Strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to understand test methods, technical specifications and measurement results.
  • Hands-on aptitude, precision and attention to detail when working with samples, instruments and laboratory equipment.
  • Structured problem-solving skills and the ability to draw evidence-based conclusions from experimental data.
  • Good command of Excel or equivalent data-analysis tools. Exposure to Power BI, Python, SQL, MATLAB or similar tools is an advantage, but mastery is not required at entry.
  • Broad technical curiosity and a proactive learning attitude, with interest in connecting product, process, measurement and data topics.
  • Ability to organize assigned activities, document work accurately and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
