This role focuses on quality assurance and quality control auditing within data centre environments, ensuring telecom installations meet industry, manufacturer and internal standards. The QA/QC Technician reviews completed work rather than performing installations, carrying out detailed inspections, testing and documentation to verify that equipment, cabling and rack layouts are installed correctly, dressed properly and functioning as designed. The position requires a strong attention to detail, an auditing mindset, and the ability to communicate findings clearly and professionally while supporting continuous improvement in quality practices.
Why Work Here?
The organisation fosters a culture where people are proud of their work and collaborate proactively as teams. It is committed to building a company that is second to none, grounded in professional behaviour, shared values and a common belief system. This culture has enabled the creation of a best‑in‑class technology integration environment, offering customers and partners a unique, integrated support for critical infrastructure and technology needs. There is a strong focus on delivering world‑class customer service and quality before, during and after engagements, and on building loyalty through excellent technical solutions and professional services. Employees benefit from a positive working environment that supports the success of customers, the company and individuals alike, with particular emphasis on the ongoing development of team members.
The role is based in data centre environments, following a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, typically totalling around 50 hours per week. While the standard pattern would normally be four 10‑hour days, the current schedule requires mandatory attendance aligned with production requirements. Work is carried out on active sites where safety is paramount, and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory at all times. Required PPE includes composite‑toe safety boots at least 6 inches in height, a Type 2, Class E hardhat with chinstrap, a yellow high‑visibility vest, safety glasses and Level 3 cut‑resistant gloves. Safety boots must be provided by the candidate, while other PPE is supplied on site. Prior to accessing sites, candidates must complete OSHA 10 training, partner onboarding and any specific general contractor safety training required. The environment is structured, process‑driven and technology‑focused, with an expectation of professional attire compatible with PPE and safe operation in data centre facilities.
