Star Services LLC, a leading Oil & Gas company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced QAQC Supervisor to join our team. This is a full-time position with a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in Oil & Gas onshore/offshore pipeline projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and quality control, with a proven track record of ensuring project compliance and delivering high-quality results.
As a QAQC Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all quality control and quality assurance activities on our onshore projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring that all project activities are carried out in accordance with industry standards, company policies, and client requirements. Your main responsibilities will include conducting inspections, audits, and tests to ensure compliance with project specifications, maintaining quality control records, and providing guidance and support to project teams.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills. Proficiency in Mandarin (reading, writing, and speaking) is mandatory, as you will be required to communicate with Chinese clients and stakeholders. You must also have a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all quality control and quality assurance activities on onshore projects
- Conduct inspections, audits, and tests to ensure compliance with project specifications
- Maintain quality control records and prepare reports for management
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on quality control and assurance matters
- Communicate with Chinese clients and stakeholders in Mandarin
- Identify and resolve any quality issues that may arise during the project
- Ensure that all project activities are carried out in accordance with industry standards, company policies, and client requirements
- Train and mentor junior QAQC staff members
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures and processes
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on quality control and assurance matters
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in Oil & Gas onshore/offshore pipeline projects
- Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Mandarin (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Proactive approach to problem-solving
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required
