Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented QA/QC Specialist to join our team!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Plan and coordinate daily inspection, surveillance, and quality assurance activities across project sites.
  • Stop work activities when serious breaches of health, safety, environmental, or quality requirements are identified.
  • Conduct quality audits and inspections to verify compliance with approved plans, procedures, and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with construction teams to plan and execute inspection and testing activities effectively.
  • Monitor contractor, subcontractor, and supplier compliance with approved Quality Assurance and Quality Control Plans and Procedures.
  • Maintain oversight of contractor QC inspectors and collaborate closely with project inspection teams to ensure quality standards are achieved.
  • Perform site inspections and surveillance activities to verify adherence to approved procedures, specifications, standards, and contract requirements.
  • Review Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), inspection findings, and quality concerns, and support corrective action implementation.
  • Ensure As-Built Quality Records are prepared and maintained in accordance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Monitor compliance with material specifications, certifications, traceability requirements, tolerances, testing standards, and quality documentation.
  • Verify proper sampling, handling, storage, curing, testing, and recording processes where applicable.
  • Ensure approved ITPs are available and implemented before and during construction activities.
  • Provide regular site surveillance and quality reporting through inspections, observations, and contractor performance monitoring.
  • Promote quality best practices by identifying and addressing non-compliant activities, waste, and non-value-adding processes.
  • Participate in supply chain quality assurance and quality control activities, both on-site and off-site, as required.
  • Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and Site Acceptance Tests (SATs) when assigned.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc quality reports, including QA/QC KPI reporting and performance dashboards.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control within heavy infrastructure, civil engineering, rail, or metro projects.
  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC principles, methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Experience reviewing quality documentation, inspection records, testing reports, and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), NCR management, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.
  • Strong understanding of construction quality standards, material compliance requirements, and quality management systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Experience in auditing, including Internal ISO 9001 Auditor certification or equivalent.
  • Experience on major rail, metro, transportation, or infrastructure projects.
  • Membership in a recognized quality management or engineering professional body.
  • Experience supporting QA/QC KPI development, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
