Job Description

Our client, a leading utilities contractor, is currently seeking a QA/QC Manager to join their team based in Ballycoolin, Dublin This role will be responsible for overseeing all quality assurance and quality control activities across a range of civil and utilities projects. The successful candidate will ensure that all works meet the highest standards of compliance, documentation, and performance. The preferred candidate will have a strong background in ISO standards, quality systems, and site-based auditing, with the ability to lead quality initiatives across multiple projects.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for all company quality-related requirements.
• Manage material testing processes in line with client specifications.
• Conduct scheduled site visits and audits to ensure quality standards are upheld.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure QA compliance.
• Provide training and guidance to site teams to promote quality awareness.
• Liaise with testing laboratories and compile material test results.
• Ensure quality records are maintained throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Prepare quality documentation for tender submissions, including Quality Management Plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Carry out internal and external ISO quality audits and compile safety files for project handovers.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of ISO9001 standards and Quality Management Systems.
• Proven experience conducting audits and managing QA/QC processes.
• High level of literacy with strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills under pressure.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
