Job Description

The QA/QC Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all quality assurance and control activities for the QXY Project. This position requires a strong understanding of construction processes and the ability to ensure compliance with project specifications, Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), and contract requirements. The manager will work closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain the highest quality standards in road and infrastructure development.
  • Lead and manage QA/QC activities for the QXY Project, ensuring compliance with project specifications and QCS.
  • Develop and implement QA/QC plans, procedures, and protocols in line with international standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor construction activities and identify potential quality issues.
  • Review and approve contractors' QA/QC plans and ensure their implementation on-site.
  • Maintain effective communication with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure the timely delivery of quality materials and equipment.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement preventive measures.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive QA/QC reports, including non-conformance reports and corrective action plans.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices in QA/QC.
  • Provide training and support to project teams and contractors on QA/QC processes and requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in QA/QC management, with a proven track record in construction projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and international quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using QA/QC software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Familiarity with construction processes and best practices in road and infrastructure development.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
