Summary: Ensures welding work is safe and ready to function as part of the structure or device it is a part of. This role is vital in ensuring that safety regulations are followed and that welders and their workplaces are safe. The QA/QC Inspector is expected to be fully conversant with welding processes such as MIG, TIG, arc, laser and butt with metals, including steel and aluminum for use on tubes, non-tubular bars, plates and tanks. This is conducted by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Education: Associate degree preferred
Certification/License: Valid Driver's License, TWIC Card, and Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) ASNT (SNT-TC-1A) Level II in one or more method: PT, UTT (thickness readings), or RTI (film interpretation) preferred or equivalent education.
Experience:8 years of Quality Control experience in the industrial industry.
