Position Summary

Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of fabricated spools and assemblies to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Maintain quality documentation, support customer inspections and audits, and assist with pressure testing, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Main objectives

• Ensure all prefabricated piping systems, spools, and assemblies comply with customer specifications, approved drawings, Company’s standards, and project requirements.

• To perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure fabrication quality is achieved on the first-time-right principle.

• To maintain complete material traceability, welding records, inspection reports, and quality documentation.

• Monitor fabrication activities and ensure compliance with approved procedures, work instructions, and ISO quality standards.

• To identify, report, and follow up on non-conformities and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

• Support customer inspections, audits, FAT activities, and project quality requirements.

• Ensure fabrication quality requirements are consistently met to achieve customer satisfaction.

• To promote a quality culture and continuous improvement within the Prefabrication team.

• Support implementation and maintenance of ISO Quality Management System requirements.

• To ensure all quality activities are conducted in accordance with Company’s specifications and project requirements.

Main Task

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of fabricated spools and assemblies.

• Verify dimensional accuracy, welding quality, material traceability, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

• Prepare and maintain quality documentation including inspection reports, welding records, NCRs, MRBs, and turnover dossiers.

• Support customer inspections, audits, pressure testing activities, and quality-related project requirements.

• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives, corrective actions, and other ad-hoc quality assignments.

Job requirement:

1. Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, Polymer Engineering, or related disciplines.

2. Preferred 2–5 years of working experience in QAQC, fabrication, piping, manufacturing, or construction-related industries.

3. Experience in thermoplastic piping systems, HDPE, PP-H, PVDF, fusion welding, or industrial fabrication is an added advantage.

4. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, isometric drawings, fabrication drawings, and project specifications.

5. Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, inspection processes, and quality documentation requirements.

6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

7. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under tight project schedules.

8. Good communication skills with strong verbal and written English language capabilities.

9. Competent in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and quality reporting tools.

10. Knowledge of DVS standards, welding inspection, pressure testing, and dimensional inspection techniques is preferred.
