Job Title - QA/QC Engineer
About the Role
We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to ensure that all construction activities comply with approved quality standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Control
Develop, implement, and monitor project quality plans, procedures, and checklists.
Conduct inspections and tests on materials, workmanship, and construction activities.
Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
Site Inspections & Monitoring
Perform routine site inspections and document findings.
Identify non-conformities and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with site teams to maintain quality standards across all disciplines.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, and test records.
Review material submittals, method statements, and inspection requests.
Maintain records for audits and project handover.
Coordination & Compliance
Liaise with consultants, contractors, and internal teams on quality-related matters.
Support internal and external quality audits.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and industry standards.
Handover & Close-Out
Assist in final inspections and snag list closures.
Ensure quality documentation is complete for project handover.
Support project close-out and final acceptance processes.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
3–7 years of QA/QC experience in construction projects.
Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, inspection processes, and standards.
Experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects preferred.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of construction quality standards and inspection techniques
Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation systems
Excellent communication and coordination abilities
Ability to work effectively on-site and with cross-functional teams
