About the role

The QA/QC & Commissioning leader is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing quality assurance, quality control, and commissioning programs, which include all projects are designed, constructed, tested, commissioned, and delivered in compliance with project specifications, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations. This position drives quality, risk management, operational reliability, and long-term asset performance from design through turnover to operations.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute enterprise-wide QA/QC and commissioning strategies, standards, and procedures.
• Establish and enforce quality control programs, inspection requirements, testing protocols, and compliance processes.
• Review design documents, specifications, and construction plans to identify quality requirements and mitigate project risks.
• Lead field inspections, audits, material testing, and quality assessments to verify compliance with project and industry standards.
• Investigate non-conformances, manage corrective actions, and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Oversee document control, inspection reporting, quality records, and construction quality metrics.
• Direct commissioning activities, including commissioning plans, scripts, Factory Witness Testing (FWT), Integrated Systems Testing (IST), system turnover, and operational readiness.
• Partner with project managers, engineers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors to maintain quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop quality training programs and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Provide executive leadership with visibility into technical risks, compliance issues, project performance, and asset reliability.
• Manage budgets, schedules, performance dashboards, and resource planning to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in QA/QC commercial construction commissioning, construction quality management, or related disciplines, preferably within mission-critical or data center environments.
• Strong knowledge of construction quality systems, commissioning processes, ISO standards, LEED requirements, ASHRAE guidelines, and safety regulations.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex construction programs.
• Proficiency in quality audits, compliance management, inspection processes, documentation control, and risk mitigation.
• Strong leadership, communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
