Begin an exciting and creative career in aviation with our 2027 Qantas Group Engineering Apprenticeship Program, specialising in Aircraft Signwriting in Melbourne.
This is a unique opportunity to combine hands-on trade skills with creativity and digital design, working on the visual identity of our aircraft and across a range of high-profile projects.
As part of our team, you’ll help bring our fleet to life. You’ll be responsible for internal and external aircraft markings across all aircraft types, along with the design, manufacture and installation of general signage, safety signage and banners. You’ll also be involved in in-house design and printing of corporate materials, including safety on board cards used across the fleet.
Working with state-of-the-art wide format printing technology and modern design tools, you’ll take projects from concept through to final production and application. This is a role where you’ll see your work come to life in a real and tangible way, seen by millions of customers every year.
No two projects are the same, making it an ideal fit for creative individuals who enjoy digital design as well as hands-on work.
Our four-year apprenticeship combines formal training with our RTO partners, in-house learning and practical experience. You’ll build skills in digital design, large-scale printing, fabrication and installation, supported by an experienced team.
