QA Engineer (Manual + Automation)

Location :- Mysuru
Experience :- 4+ years

Your Role

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of applications through a combination of manual and automated testing approaches. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality releases.

In this role, you will:

Manual Testing

• Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
• Design and execute test cases, test plans, and scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and UAT testing.
• Log, track, and manage defects while collaborating with developers and product owners.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for issues identified in production.

Automation Testing

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Automate UI and API testing workflows.
• Maintain and enhance reusable automation frameworks.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and analyze failures.

CI/CD & DevOps

• Work with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Configure automated test execution pipelines.
• Generate and analyze detailed test execution reports.

Database Testing

• Validate data using SQL and NoSQL queries.
• Perform data integrity and consistency checks across systems.

Performance Testing

• Validate application scalability and performance.
• Execute and analyze performance testing scenarios.

Your Profile

• Strong expertise in Manual, API, and Web Testing.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience in automation framework development and maintenance.
• Proficiency in performance testing using tools like JMeter.
• Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, database testing, and version control (Git).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
