The opportunity:
The Quality Assurance and Testing Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, reliability, and performance of automated CAD design tools. This role involves developing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, validating tool functionality, and working closely with the development team to resolve issues.
How you’ll make an impact:
Develop comprehensive test cases and test plans for CAD automation design tools.
Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of the design tools
Validate design tool functionality to ensure it meets the specified requirements and design specifications.
Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools and methodologies.
Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation.
Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and bug fixes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on the quality, performance, and validation of the design tools.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA team.
Collaborate with users to gather feedback on software performance and usability, and incorporate this feedback into the testing and development process.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, with 3 to 6 years of relevant experience.
Strong experience with 3D CAD modeling tools, specifically Creo Parametric.
Experience with CAD software and automation tools. Strong understanding of QA methodologies.
Proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks for both manual and automated testing.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of programming languages is an added advantage.
Outstanding communication skills for effective collaboration with developers and end users across diverse regions and cultures.
Proficient in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines, with strong self-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
