Job Purpose
Test and evaluate [newly] developed features to identify issues and help remove bugs and other user experience issues with the relevant technical and business teams
1.Arrange for demonstrations from developers to test product functionality, focusing on identifying and addressing minor to moderate issues in functionality, usability, and performance to ensure product readiness
2.Push for a result-oriented approach for teams to deliver results that drive faster towards the end objective to minimize minor to moderate bugs and glitches during development
3.Accurately evaluate and report test results, test progress, and product quality for the chapter leads and product owners, with a focus on minor to moderate issues to provide actionable insights and facilitate informed decision-making.
4.Ensure proper use of testing tools to ensure continuous testing throughout the development process, focusing on the identification and resolution of minor to moderate issues to maintain product integrity and stability.
5.Collaborate within the team, working in pairs with programmers and other team members, concentrating on troubleshooting minor to moderate issues to ensure a cohesive and well-functioning product delivery.
6. Help address minor to moderate functionality and performance testing issues

7. Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
Day- to-day operations
8. Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the DDC department to ensure continuity of work.
Compliance
9.Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks.
Qualifications & Experience
§Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or its equivalent.
§0-2 years of relevant experience in performance and functionality testing as part of the development cycle (3-5 for Senior QA Tester)
§Familiar with implementing agile test strategies
§Experience in working with product owners to define acceptance criteria
§Familiar with coaching agile team members in relevant aspects of testing
Skills:
§Quick respond to change (e.g., adding or improving test cases)
§ Objective external assessment of emerging issues in the team and troubleshooting through agile principles

Commercial International Bank was established in 1975 as a joint venture between the National Bank of Egypt (NBE, 51%) and the Chase Manhattan Bank (49%) under the name "Chase National Bank of Egypt”. Following Chase's decision to divest its equity stake in 1987, NBE increased its shareholding to 99.9%, changing the Bank’s name to Commercial International Bank (Egypt) S.A.E. NBE’s stake gradually decreased through several public offerings till reaching 18.7%. In 2006, a Consortium led by Ripplewood Holdings acquired NBE stake.
