Industry: IT Service

Our client is seeking a QA Tester (Manual & Automation) to ensure the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications through a combination of manual and automated testing. The successful candidate will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to identify issues early, improve software quality, and support continuous product delivery.

Main Responsibilities:

Manual Testing

• Design, develop, and execute test cases and test plans based on business requirements and user stories.
• Perform functional, regression, exploratory, cross-browser, and cross-device testing for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects with clear reproduction steps and severity levels.
• Verify bug fixes and perform release validation before deployment.

Automation Testing

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts for UI, API, and regression testing.
• Convert repetitive manual test cases into automated test scenarios.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor test execution.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and report testing metrics.

Collaboration & Quality Improvement

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups.
• Collaborate with developers to improve application quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Contribute to QA documentation, testing standards, and process improvements.
• Promote best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

Main Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and testing types (functional, regression, integration, smoke, and UAT).
• Hands-on experience in manual testing, test case creation, and bug reporting.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language such as JavaScript, Python, or Java
• Experience with API testing and related testing tools.
• Familiarity with bug tracking, test management tools, Git, and CI/CD concepts.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mobile application testing (iOS/Android).
• Knowledge of performance and load testing.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks and Page Object Model (POM).
• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation.
• Experience with cloud platforms or containerized environments.
• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is an advantage.
