The QA Engineer will join an industry leader in the provision of live casino games. The role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and integrity of software releases within an agile development environment.
As a QA Engineer you will focus on manual and automation testing. This position involves a high degree of collaboration with Software Engineering, Product Management, and other stakeholders to improve the quality of our platform services, back office tools, and internal systems.
Main Responsibilities
Design and execute test plans, scenarios, and cases based on product requirements.
Identify and document defects, inconsistencies, and errors in platform services, backoffice tools, and internal systems.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure resolution of identified issues.
Assist in the development and implementation of an automation strategy targeted at our unique industry requirements.
Contribute to the development of automated test scripts using state-of-the-art testing tools.
Maintain automated test scripts to ensure they remain up-to-date with changing industry and platform requirements.
Maintain detailed logs of tests conducted and their results in alignment with industry standards.
Produce test summary reports and contribute to release notes for our range of products and services.
Work closely with the Development team to identify areas for quality improvement in platform services, backoffice tools, and internal systems.
Support the Product Management team in refining product requirements to align with industry demands for better testability.
Assist in the continual refinement of QA best practices, with an emphasis on scalability and efficiency suited for a leading company in the live casino game industry.
Engage in root-cause analysis to recommend product and platform enhancements.
Main Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in software QA, primarily focusing on manual testing.
Exposure to automated testing tools is a plus (Java based frameworks junit/restassured, etc.) Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
