ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Specific tasks, responsibilities or competencies may be documented in the Team Member’s performance objectives as outlined by the Team Member’s immediate Leadership Team Member.

QA or Sr.QA with 3 to 5 years of Experience

Knowledge of Manual & Automation Testing

1. Manual Part:

  • TC creation
  • Bug logging over the tool (for ex: Jira / Azure / Bugzilla / Redmine etc.)
  • Traceability matrix
  • Regression (executed Regression Suites)
  • Bug Lifecycle
  • Priority & Severity understanding of Bugs & TC's.

2. Tools and Tech:

  • Language: Java / JavaScript / Python
  • Frameworks: Selenium, Playwright, REST Assured
  • Build/CI: Maven/ Jenkins / GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps
  • Tracking/Docs: Jira / Confluence
  • Reporting: TestNG/JUnit/Jest

3. Must Have:

  • 3–5 years in Software QA with mid-level of automation experience.
  • Hands-on with at least one automation tool: Selenium / Playwright (TypeScript/Java/JS/Python).
  • Strong in OOP, test design patterns (Page Object, Screenplay, fixtures), and data-driven testing.
  • Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, SuperTest) and mocking/stubbing.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD and version control (Git).
  • Solid understanding of SDLC/STLC, Agile/Scrum, and defect lifecycle (Jira/Azure Boards).
  • Clear communication skills; ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.

4. Good-to-Have:

  • Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber, SpecFlow, or Behave.
  • Performance testing using JMeter.
  • Exposure to Healthcare/Medical domain applications.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The ability to perform work at a computer terminal for 6-8 hours a day and function in an environment with constant interruptions is required. At times, Team Members are subject to sitting for prolonged periods. Infrequently, Team Member must be able to lift and move material weighing up to 20 lbs. Team Member may experience elevated levels of stress during periods of increased activity and with work entailing multiple deadlines.
